Unlike many other AP exams that are purely test-based, AP CSP is a portfolio-based assessment. Your final score (1-5) is derived from a composite score out of roughly 100 points.

The Math Behind the Calculator

To calculate your composite score, we use a weighted formula. Since the exam has 70 questions and the task has 6 points, we can't just add them up.

Weighted Score = (Create Task / 6) * 30 + (MCQ / 70) * 70
